Although many children would feel threatened by extinction by this great bird, she mastered the art of hunting and using eagle captured hares and foxes. Asher Svidensky, the photographer, to see it in action stated that “Look at her with the eagle was extraordinary. She felt comfortable, powerful and relieved.”

The photographer Patricia Willocq, National Geographic, captured the moment Basunga, a baby born three weeks albino, sleeping peacefully with her cousin in Kinshasa, Congo. “For now it is not aware of the difficulties faced in integrating into Congolese society; the successful integration depends largely on how you accept yourself and your skin condition, and the education they receive.”
